Eden Prairie is an edge city located southwest of Minneapolis in Hennepin County,
Minnesota, United States.
It is home to more than 2,200 businesses, including Supervalu, ADC Telecommunications,
MTS Systems Corporation and the Minnesota Vikings.
In 2006, Eden Prairie was selected as the 10th best place to live in the United States by Money Magazine.
The city has more than 170 miles (270 km) of multi-use trails, 2,250 acres (9 kmē) of parks,
and 1,300 acres (5 kmē) of open space.
The population was 54,901 at the 2000 census.
