A northern suburb of Orlando, the city's name is Spanish for "high hill."
The population was 41,200 at the 2000 census. According to the 2006 U.S. Census Bureau's estimates,
the city had a population of 40,613.
The city is part of the Orlando-Kissimmee, Florida, Metropolitan Statistical Area, which the census bureau
estimated had a 2006 population of 1,984,855.
